PixiVisor is a versatile tool designed for video transmission experimentation through audio channels. The application is comprised of two main components: the Transmitter and the Receiver.
The Transmitter feature operates by converting low-resolution video content, including camera streams, static images, or GIF animations, into real-time audio signals on a pixel-by-pixel basis, enabling the transfer of various visual media via soundwaves. On the other hand, the Receiver function reverses this process by converting audio inputs from microphones or Line-in sources back into video outputs. Users have the option to customize the color palette of the reconstructed video and even save it as an animated GIF file.
Key features of PixiVisor include:
- Wireless Lo-Fi video transmission through audio
- Video signal transmission via audio cables, allowing for signal manipulation using mixers or audio effect processors
- VJing capabilities for live visual performances

- I: Invert function in the Receiver
- N: Normalize audio levels in the Receiver
- 1, 2: Adjust contrast levels in the Receiver
- 3, 4: Modify gamma settings in the Receiver
- 5, 6: Fine-tune video output in the Receiver
- 7, 8: Control X-axis repetition in the Receiver
- 9, 0: Control Y-axis repetition in the Receiver
- LEFT, RIGHT, UP, DOWN: Image movement controls in the Receiver
